The social event for the workshop will be held on Monday October 24, 2022 at Campio Brewing Co. Festivities will begin at 5:30pm. Last call will be at 12am.

Guitar and Vocal duo featuring local performer Diana Stabel

Born and raised in Edmonton, Diana Stabel is a writer, singer, and elementary music teacher. Shes’s been a regular in Alberta’s live music and theatre scene. In 2006, Stabel released her debut album, Wave, and this allowed her some career-advancing opportunities, such as performing a jazzy duet with Colin James in both Edmonton and Calgary as part of the Colin James & Little Big Band’s Christmas Symphony tour as well as sharing the Jubilee stage with Adam Cohen in a tribute to his dad, Canadian folk legend Leonard Cohen. She's also performed with Juno Award winners Tom Cochrane, Tom Lavin and Bill Bourne at the acoustically-renowned Winspear Centre, in a concert celebrating the career of hockey icon Mark Messier.
 
8:30 – 9:30pm – Comedian Sterling Scott
A high-energy performer and crowd favorite

Sterling’s material stems from his experiences with relationships, family, being a father, current events, his outlook on life and the world, and those awkward moments that people from all walks of life can relate to. Sterling has traveled all across Canada the U.S. and even overseas with notable performances as a finalist in the San Francisco international comedy competition in 2013, winner of the Edmonton international comedy festival "young guns" competition 2013, finalist in the Seattle international comedy competition 2014, performing for the troops in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan, and Dubai, and the just for laughs festival in Montreal. As a writer and actor Sterling has worked on season twenty of the Canadian comedy television show “This Hour has 22 minutes".
