Lydia is the Manager of the National Collaborating Centre for Environmental Health (NCCEH) and an Adjunct Professor and Continuing Education Director at the School of Population and Public Health, University of British Columbia. At the NCCEH she oversees and manages a team of environmental health and knowledge translation scientists and other team members. She works with a national Advisory Board, liaises with stakeholders in practice, research, and policy, and partners with the other five National Collaborating Centres within the NCC of Public Health Program that is funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada - NCCs of: Determinants of Health, Healthy Public Policy, Indigenous Health, Infectious Diseases, and Methods and Tools.
